Hi,
Just got my shipment of CD Fix-it and well, I can't believe this stuff really works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question : How long should you let the stuff dry before buffing it off ?
Let me tell you my unique problem: I bought a Sony 200 disk changer about three years ago. I loaded up all of my CD's into it, deprogrammed all of the songs I did not want to listen to and was happy. Then, the CD carousel started screwing up, it would drop a CD before it was in proper position on the carrousel and the CD changer though it was in place, the carrousel would spin and the mis-placed CD would jam and flap against all of the other CD's loaded into the system. I screwed up about 110 CD's.
Since then, I just haven't played them much, every time I got into the music, the damn thing would start dropping CD's again and screw up even more CD's. One night I got a wild hair and tore the unit apart. After looking closely, I was lucky and figured out the mechanism was just out of adjustment and fixed it. The problem was, by then, my entire CD collection was screwed.
I found the CD Fix-it on the Web and received it in the mail yesterday, I have been a polishing muther &*^%# since then, and I am amazed. I have been playing my collection since yesterday at 6PM and have encountered only one skip, so I pulled that CD out and gave it three more coatings / polishings. I found two CD's that will have to be replaced, one is actually cracked and the other has the paint scratched off, that ain't bad considering I thought I was gonna have to replace about 110 CD's.
I am giving each CD 3 polishings / coatings and this seems to work well.
Anyway, time to stop rambling, I need your web address and if you ever need a reference, send 'em my E-Mail address.
Thanks,
